New Hat

I finally got around to taking picture of a hat I made recently. I used a silky satin type fabric, pastel pink and peach lace and flower. I chose not put a lining in this one to keep it light weight for summer wear. Nice for garden party dress or evening attire. I really like how it turned out.

New Crochet Patterns

I have new patterns on Ravelry. Cloche hat and a neckwarmer

I haven't been much for blogging lately, so busy. I'm in the process of making a cloche hat. lightweight I think it will be great for summer, the beach etc.
I'll post that later.

This is a newsboy/cabbie hat I made. I used a medium weight woven corduroy type fabric. Lined in cotton plaid. Message me if you'd like one custom made.

Chunky Cloche Part 2

Well that hat is completed. I added a large flower to hat and strings. I decided to make cowl with the remaining yarn. The cowl wraps around the neck and buttons on the side.

Chunky Cloche

The Latest hat I'm working on for a customer. I like the super bulky yarn with this pattern, I thought it would be too chunky but it is really nice gives the hat stability, keeps it's shape nicely.
This is 14 ply yarn. 50% wool, 50% acrylic.
It's in color merlot. My camera makes the color look lighter than it really is, the actual color is a merlot wine color.

Vintage Cloche Pattern

So for the long delay, I was away for a few months, so while I was gone I disabled all my listings on Etsy. Sorry if you tried to buy some patterns during that time as they were unavailable. But now they are back in my Etsy shop and at a reduced price for a limited time.
They are instant downloads so no more waiting!!

I started designing the hats and created these patterns because I could not find a cloche hat pattern that I liked and I wanted to make hats and sell them in my Etsy shop. But most patterns do not let you sell the items you make from the patterns. I figure that the pattern is basic but with a little imagination you can create some awesome hats.

So you can buy on Etsy and you have permission to sell finished items you make using this pattern. But You May Not Sell The Pattern Itself In Any Form, Or post it to the internet, you may not distribute or share this pattern. © 2013 Frilly Girl Couture. All Rights Reserved
